VIDYUT JAMWAL

       The famous person that I would choose is "VIDYUT JAMWAL".Vidyut Jamwal is a well-know upcoming 'Indian film actor,martial artist and model'.He also has worked in Bollywood,Kollywood,and Tollywood films.He was born on 10 December 1980 at Jammu,India.Vidyut Jamwal's father worked in army forces and passed away when he was very young and he was brought up by his mother.Vidyut Jamwal has always taken care of his mother and sister.

           Vidyut jamwal studied in a boarding school.He was very active and enthusiastic when he was a kid and he claims that he regularly used to fight with his friends.Beside thats,Vidyut Jamwal's fitness secret is martial arts.He started martials arts training at the age of 3 years.He learnt Kalaripayattu up to 11 years in Kerala.By the age of 11 years,he has almost participated in different martial arts competition across 30 countries.After 11 years,he started learning gymnastics.Vidyut Jamwal also learnt "Jiu Jitsu" and "Parkour".Jiu Jitsu is another martial art called Jujutsu from Japan,a martial art consisting of striking and grappling techniques.Jiu Jitsu training is extremely hard and is one of the best martial art existing today.Parkour is a holistic training given to the military to move swiftly and efficiently through the battlefield overcoming any obstacle the come across.The main objective of Parkour is speed and accurately using walls,big rocks,trees or any object that block their movement to accelerate their speed.However,he claims that Kalaripayattu has been the key training which gave strong foundation for his martial arts career.

           Before coming to Mumbai and joining film industry,Vidyut used to be martial arts trainer.However,Vidyut Jamwal confessed that he used to be uncertain about his career plan.But when he expressed his interest in joining movies,his mother readily accepted and supported him to becoming an actor.His first Bollywood outing is "Force",a remake of the Tamil film Kaaka Kaaka,alongside John Abraham.He subsequently played supporting roles in the Telugu films "Shakti" and "Oosaravelli".In 2012,Jamwal made his debut in Tamil cinema with" Billa2".Then, he worked on another Tamil film "Thupakki"which become a blockbuster and he acted in negative role.Then,he recently played a supporting and an important role in another Tamil film "Anjaan" as a partner of Surya.Commando is the second film for him and his first movie as solo lead actor.After the success of Commando,he was next seen donning the avatar of a sharp shooter cop in Tigmanshu Dulia,Bullet Raja,and was loved for his action and his performance.Know for his gritty and edgy cinematic style,Tigmanshu has cast him once again for his next directorial venture"Yaara".

            Besides that,Jamwal is a vegetarian and appeared in an ad for PETA with the caption"Powered by Veggies!Go Vegetarian".He along with Kangana Ranaut(Bollywood Actress) were adjudged as PETA Indian's Hottest Vegetarian Celebrities of 2013.With vegetarianism,Jamwal is also considered a fitness idol amongmembers of the youth.His chiseled and buff body has always been a key topic of conversation for him.His workhout regime combines martial arts training with various other elements of cardio vascular,weight and interval training.More recently Jamwal has adopted and added Anti Gravity Yoga and Suspension TRX to his intense workhout regime.Being a fitness and adventure sports enthusiast,Jamwal also visited a lesser known site of Piedra in Argentina and took on the sport of rock climbing which he enjoys tremendously.As an ode and as a celebration of his love for martial arts,Jamwal also visiting the Shaolin Temple in China.Vidyut's visit was meant to honour" Bodhidharma" a Buddhist monk who is credited for taking theteachings of Kalaripayattu from India to China.He is also believed to have spent a week training as part of a very closed door martial arts camp at the temple which is meant only for martial arts experts and not novices.The camp covers aspects of attack,combat,self-defense,and even protection and healing spanning various martial art forms.

             

             Other than that,he also won many Awards and Accolades which is Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Awards as a Best Debut Male(2012),Big Star Entertainment Awards as a Best Debut Male(2012),Balaji Global Indian Film and Television Awards - Colors Most Promising New Debutant Male(2012),FICCI Frames as a Best Debut Male(2012),Stardust Awards as a Breakthrough Performance Male(2012),Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut and IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year-Male(2012),SIIMA Award for best Actor in a Negative Role(2013) and currently he won Zee Cine Awards - Umeed Ka Naya Chehra(2014).At the same time,he also got Titles as a Prominently featured on the List of Best Bodies by Men's Health magazine India and Prominently featured on the List of Most Desirable Men by The Times of India/Zoom in 2011,On the list of Top 5 Fittest Men by Men's Health magazine India, Prominently featured on the List of Sexiest Men Alive by People Magazine India,Prominently featured on the List of Chennai's Most Desirable Men by The Times of India,Prominently featured on the List of Most Desirable Men by The Times of India/Zoom in 2012, Prominently featured on the List of Chennai's Most Desirable Men by The Times of India and Prominently featured on the List of Most Desirable Men by The Times of indiazoom in 2013, and PETA's Hottest Vegetarian in 2014.

                   Futhermore,Vidyut Jamwal also has designed an entire self-defense module for college and working girls that can help them travel without any fear. These are simple technique that don't need full self-defense course. More like a module that can be learned and implemented.Vidyut Jamwal is known to design his own action that can be seen in COMMANDO as well. Vidyut comes from an army background and has been instrumental in training in various arts.He has requested COMMANDO team to promote this viral among college students and working executives.Lastly,he wants young women to be self-sufficient and independent.
